The Hallway Story. A Short Version for Anyone Feeling Stuck

There are moments in life where it feels like all the doors closed at once.

You are not where you used to be, but you are not where you are going either.

You are in the hallway.

The hallway is uncomfortable.

It is quiet.

It is unsettling.

It is where doubt talks the loudest.

I know the hallway well. I have sat there broke, exhausted, scared, and unsure if anything would ever change.

Here is what I learned.

The hallway is not punishment.

It is preparation.

When doors close, it is because that chapter is over.

When people leave, their part of your story is complete.

When seasons shift, it is because you learned what you needed for the next step.

The hallway gives you time to breathe, reset, and regroup.

Sometimes God waits for you to rise before He shows you where to walk next.

If you are in the hallway right now, do not rush it.

Do not talk yourself out of your purpose.

Do not mistake silence for abandonment.

You are being prepared, not forgotten.

And when the next door opens, you will understand why the hallway was necessary.
